ITA provides a range of related services
Training
From ITA’s foundation in 2005 we have at different times organised and run training courses for Chinese publishing companies in China and in the UK. For instance, over the past five years, in cooperation with Renmin University Press and Oxford Brookes University we have invited a group of editors, sales staff and senior management from top university presses, to attend an ITA-organised, pre-London Book Fair, publishing training course at Oxford Brookes. Consultancy
ITA has used a team of freelancers to provide market research and targeted consultancy both for international publishers (on the China market) and for leading Chinese publishers on the international market. International clients include Oxford University Press and De Agostini. Chinese clients include two of the largest publishing groups: China Education and Publishing Media Group and the China Publishing Group.
English Language Editing
Again, using a team of freelancers, ITA develops content and provides translation and English language editing and ‘language polishing’ services to assist Chinese partner publishers to produce English language titles that they intend to either distribute themselves or license.
